Legoland: Windsor

October 31, 2009
While everyone was out trick-or-treating, we spent Halloween at Legoland. Even though the rides were designed mostly for younger kids, and the queues (lines)were long, we still had a great time. My favorite parts by far were Miniland and the firework show. Miniland was huge! It was a collection of big cities in Europe made entirely of Legos. I could've spent all day there looking. There was so much to see! There was London, Paris, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, and the NASA station to name a few. My favorite had to be Big Ben and the Bouillon Castle found in Belgium. They were so intricate and had to have taken tons of time and patience to build. The fireworks at the end were Indianna Jones themed and they played his theme song through most of it. It was beautiful.
We took a little train ride to the center of the park
This was the Bouillon Castle from Belgium in Miniland

Big Ben and the London Eye... Very intricate and beautiful.
From the top of the hill, you could see Windsor Castle... One of the residencies of the Queen. The flag wasn't up so she wasn't home.
